Tell me a school bus joke!

Hazel graduated from mini slow melt popsicles to full size Dora the Explorer popsicles a few weeks back. The best thing about these is that there is a joke on the stick. The first joke was something like, "How did the thread get to school. On a spool bus!" Well that got Hazel cracking up, so we continued making up other jokes about school buses. "How did the ghost get to school? On the ghoul bus!" The one Hazel made up was "How did the princess get to school? On the magic wand bus!" It didn't rhyme, but she thought it was funny. So now every night after dinner, she asks us to tell school bus jokes. Gee... I can't wait for knock-knock jokes...
Speaking of rhyming, Hazel totally gets this. She can usually think of a rhyming word or two and then just makes up her own words that rhyme. And they do rhyme - they're just not actually words.
This week she's asking if we notice things. "Mama, did you notice that?" Why yes, I did.
She's also doing tricks for us. Her first trick was long ago. She balanced a book on her feet while I was changing her diaper, and she said it was her circus trick. It's nice to know she's planning out her circus career in detail already. These days it's a trick if she walks on the rocker of her rocking horse, or jumps up the stairs on her knees. My favorite was when she sat on the back seat of the van and put her hands and feet on the grab bar of the seat in front of her - at the same time. Isn't that just amazing? :) Yep, that's some trick!
