Christmas

Boy, the week of Christmas went quickly. Hazel had so much fun playing with Aunt Trudy, Gramma Kitty and Grampa Don while they were here, and that freed up Mommy to take care of everything else. Christmas Eve, after telling Hazel that Santa Claus would come that night and bring presents, the last thing she talked about before going to bed was that we were going to trim her fingernails in the morning - glad she wasn't going to lie awake thinking about Christmas morning. She was pretty overwhelmed when she saw the presents. Never got excited or really even smiled. Just overwhelmed I think. (BTW - we had an outside tree this year, which was really pretty with the colored lights under the snow.)
Of all her presents, so far Hazel likes her little light stick best (last photo). It spins and lights up when you push the button. It also vibrates, so she likes to hold it to her cheek. It's great for car trips in the dark.

The pictures of Hazel are really cute. Having little ones around really adds alot to Christmas, and everything else. Hope Eric is doing ok. Check out your dad of facebook. Martha
