Pasta family
Hazel was slowly eating the last of her pasta tonight and decided to call a larger piece of pasta "mommy" and a smaller piece "baby." I'm glad she sees the correlation of size to family members, but I'm not sure I want to be compared to a piece of pasta. Mommy and baby bear, I understand, but pasta? So of course I immediately broke a piece of bread into large and small pieces so we could have a bread family too. Who's teaching who?

Girls seem to make a small group of anything into a family... my mom tells about a time when I pointed out three flagpoles and said, "Daddy, Mommy, Baby."
That's very cute, Lynne. I'll look forward to meeting more families!
