Pretzels are popular right now, as are Elmo crackers. Toast with jam, oatmeal, Corn Chex and Cheerios round out the grains. Oh, and Mickey Mouse pasta and spaghetti noodles. She clapped her hands and said Yaay after trying the spaghetti at The Olive Garden the other night.
She has 1/3 cup of juice in the morning and milk the rest of the day. She still has a morning bottle, so I can clip her finger/toenails without protest. She also enjoys a delicious cup of crushed ice sometimes.
For treats, she loves milkshakes. She also likes Teddy Grahams, Costco's Winnie The Pooh cookies, and Cookie Monster cookies. Sometimes she even declines them, if I try to get her to stay at the table longer with an offer of cookies.
The strange things (in my opinion) that she likes are olives and pickles. Mommy doesn't understand that. She also dips many things in ketchup, and so far, Jello has been the only poor choice.
That's all I can think of. Here are pictures of two new places to read - her Christmas chair and the windowsill by the front door. Not to fear, she wasn't comfortable slouching for long. Half the time she wants books read to her, and the rest of the time she prefers to read them to herself.
