Christmas lingers

I recently brought down the last of Hazel's toys I had stashed away before Christmas - to have more room for entertaining. She had a joyful reunion with her kitchen appliances, basket of dishes and the plastic food items in the fridge. So yesterday she was preparing a meal at her little table and told me that "Hazel is busy making Christmas dinner." Then when playing her new favorite before-bedtime game of flashlights with Daddy, she started making Christmas dinner yet again and put the flashlight into the colored tea cups and said she was lighting the candles. Christmas lingers on in her little world.
