Daddy got a new porch swing for his birthday. After lots of sanding and some sealing, Hazel and a bear tested it out on the work table and then made faces for me. Now that it's hanging on the front porch, it's a favorite spot for listening to the fountain, reading books, and singing songs before bedtime.
Some more great imaginative play. These are her pompoms making little ponds for the ducks.
And the books are a dock, leading down to a freighter made of barnyard blocks. We've got three ports near where we live and several train yards and talk often about the shipping process, which she seems to find quite interesting.

The art of listening! I see her childish renditions of your words as a compliment. ~gram
