A new park and some funky art

Hazel and I went to Chehalis on Monday and played at this fun park. She's getting a little more adventurous about climbing and taking risks, but not dangerously so. That's great at the park. That's not great at home on the furniture...
Then we stopped to tour someone's yard who has been making art out of junk for decades. We got a tour fom the elderly creator himself, and his little dog. Hazel said his yard looked "crazy, crazy" and she says she's making art now when drawing and building.
"Don't bounce the bridge, Mama!"
She thought this chair swing was pretty neat. Couldn't get her to smile though.
Because all the swinging pictures are like this. What... enjoying the taste of the Fall air?
Nothing better than playing with gravel, especially the pebble variety.
Loves to walk on "balance beams."
This little green house type building was very pretty with the sunlight coming through and lighting things up!
The artist encourages hands-on. There were some other neat things, but I didn't want to take pictures while he was talking to me. Maybe next time, as I'm sure we'll stop again.
