Detail oriented

Hazel is very focused while coloring now. She picks specific parts of the picture to color, and with Aquadoodle, makes sure to get every little spot covered in water. She'll draw little circles for clouds and smoke coming out of chimneys (that we've drawn). She draws big circles for heads and then puts little dots for the eyes and nose and a line for the mouth. They're usually not where they would normally belong on a face, but when I add the body, arms and legs, we end up with some pretty interesting looking people. Here's some pictures of her coloring, running, and trying to figure out the lock puzzles Daddy played with as a child. She pinched her fingers, of course, so we'll get those out again a little later.
